                Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  •  Uses Applied software as a tool to interpret policy provisions, answer coverage and billing questions from clients
  • Enters and maintains data in Applied database system per procedures set forth
  • Works off expiration list to remarket existing policies, trying to obtain appropriate coverage and premium for clients
  • Cross selling of other departments and account rounds
  • Evaluates risks and develops appropriate quotes for clients
  • Uploads new business changes on company web-sites
  • Answers questions and concerns from carrier underwriting
  • Maintains relationship with assigned carriers and communicates todepartment all known carrier changes and updates
  • Works with clients to determine new risks to their situation based on RFQ’s

 

 

  Required Competencies:

  •  Four year college degree
  • Self starter with competitive and entrepreneurial spirit
  • Results oriented – ability to create relationships and close sales
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient in MS Office software, Applied and/or industry software experience a plus
  • Must have Agents or Solicitors license in Life & Health or appropriate license to sell investment products
  • Must have insurance and/or investment sales experience in specified area, minimum 3 years in same or similar capacity

 

Salary Range: Negotiable: initially base compensation plus commission
