Cindy Schultz has worked as a Personal Insurance Advisor at Brown & Brown of Detroit since 2012. She has over 23 total years of experience in the insurance industry. In her current role, Cindy handles the risk management needs of her client portfolio and evaluates new business opportunities while establishing herself as a trusted advisor.
Prior to joining Brown & Brown of Detroit, Cindy held various roles at several companies in the industry, notably serving as Vice President at Bank of America for ten years. Most recently, she worked as the Business Development Manager at Mayernik Insurance Services.
Cindy has completed National Alliance, risk management, and sales management courses. In addition, she has taken technical and PC courses, and benefits counselor training through Colonial College. Cindy is a Certified Insurance Counselor, who holds Michigan licenses in health, life and accident, and property and casualty. She possessed a customer service representative certification.
Cindy is a member of the National Alliance. She specializes in personal property and casualty insurance, and she is particularly skilled in serving the needs of affluent clients. Her favorite part of the job is advising, counseling, and selling. Cindy feels that Brown & Brown rises above their competition because of our ability to provide insurance solutions for all lines of business, our local presence and national strength, and our highly qualified advisors.
Cindy is proud to be involved with several community organizations such as the Society of Certified Insurance Consultants, St. Jane Community Life Committee, and Sugar Spring Golf and Country Club. She is a huge fan of the Detroit Tigers and attends about 18 games per year, including two to three out of state games. She also enjoys yoga, photography, gardening, and golf.
